Ray McDonald arrested AGAIN!
Looks like the end of the road for Ray McDonald who was cut today by the Chicago Bears after being arrested for domestic abuse and child endangerment.
McDonald was arrested at about 7am as the Santa Clara police stated he was charged because he assaulted his victim while holding a baby.
Bears general manager Ryan Pace stated “We believe in second chances, but when we signed Ray, we were very clear what our expectations were if he was to remain a Bear,” Pace said in a statement released Monday afternoon. “He was not able to meet the standard and the decision was made to release him.”
McDonald who was arrested but not charged for domestic abuse stemming from an arrest August 31st of last year during his birthday celebration.
McDonald was also accused of raping a woman but in that case no charges have been filed.
Despite all that, the Bears took a chance on McDonald but that ended today. The Bears did not sign McDonald to guaranteed money and have rid themselves of the troubled player.
