NFL Power 5 ranking week 15
With only two weeks left in the football season, the good teams are continuing to separate themselves from the pack. Playoff positions are being jockeyed for and teams are starting to hear that phrase that no one likes, “you’re still mathematically in it.”
With all that said, here this weeks power 5:
1) Los Angeles Chargers (11 – 3)
Simply put, the Chargers are the most complete team in the NFL right now. Last week they went into Kansas City without their top two running backs and their number one receiver was hurt during the game and they still found a way to come back and beat the Chiefs. They may be a wild card when all is said and done, but they are a team no one wants to see.
2) New Orleans Saints (11 – 3)
The Saints are one win away from securing home filed throughout the NFC playoffs. They beat a down and out Panthers team in Carolina and have only two home games left between the Pittsburg Steelers and the Panthers again.
3) Kansas City Chiefs (11 – 3)
One could argue the Chiefs are not the best team in their division but should not stop them from winning their division and earning a first round bye.
4) Chicago Bears (10 – 4)
The Bears are the NFC North Division champions for the first time since 2010. They are two wins and one Rams loss away from a bye week in the playoffs.
5) Los Angeles Rams (11 – 3)
The Rams have already clinched the NFC west and is playing for home field throughout the NFC playoffs. Unfortunately, that was the same thing said last week. The Rams have lost two weeks in a row and offensively they are struggling. Their continuing to show they have depth problems. They have two weeks to right the ship and they have the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers to help them.
