NFL Power 5 ranking week 14
With only three weeks left in the football season, the good teams are continuing to separate themselves from the pack. Playoff positions are being jockeyed for and teams are starting to hear that phrase that no one likes, “you’re still mathematically in it.”
With all that said, here this weeks power 5:
1) Kansas City Chiefs (11 – 2)
The Chiefs had just enough to beat a surging Baltimore Ravens team. Up next, the Los Angeles Chargers. A win against them and they wrap up the AFC west.
2) New Orleans Saints (11 – 2)
The Saints are three wins away from securing home filed throughout the NFC playoffs. Only two games against a struggling Carolina Panther team and a home game against the Pittsburg Steelers, who can’t seem to get out of their own way, is in the way.
3) Los Angeles Chargers (10 – 3)
The best team in the NFL that is not on top of their own division. All that can change this week with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
4) Chicago Bears (9 – 4)
The Bears are coming off their most impressive win of the season by shutting down the high powered Los Angeles Rams. Their defense held the Rams to 6 points and showed why defense can still be played at high level in the NFL.
5) Los Angeles Rams (11 – 2)
The Rams have already clinched the NFC west and is playing for home field throughout the NFC playoffs. The Rams are showing that their depth is not great at a lot of positions, but their starting 11 on offense is still one of the most lethal in the NFL.
