Cuban Cowboy Podcast: An interview with Marlins prospect JJ Bleday

In this installment of the no-budget Cuban Cowboy Podcast, I talk to Miami Marlins pitching prospect JJ Bleday.

Bleday was selected forth overall by the Marlins in this year’s MLB Draft. Just shortly after, he led Vanderbilt to the College World Series title.

He led the NCAA in home runs with 27 this season and wowed everyone at Marlins Park by hitting bombs to the upper deck during batting practice.

We discussed his minor league debut in Jupiter as a member of the Hammerheads, the difference between college and minor league baseball and his other passions.
