Casey out in Toronto

Fresh off the heels of ten consecutive loses to a LeBron James led team and another elimination from the playoffs, the Toronto Raptors have relieved Dwane Casey of his head coaching position.

Casey, who was just named coach of the year by his peers, will leave as the all time winning coach in Raptor history.

“Case is one of the best coaches I’ve ever had,” point guard Kyle Lowry said to ESPN.

Mike Budenholzer, former Atlanta Hawks coach, is thought to be one of the coaches receiving strong consideration.
