Booker extends for $158 million
It is finally official, Devin Booker has signed a 5-year extension with the Phoenix Suns for the maximum allowed of $158 million.
“I’m humbled and honored to commit to the Suns organization long term.” He went on in a tweet, “I look forward to the future and pursuing a title as a Sun.”
Booker was the number 13 pick in the 2015 NBA drafted.
Thus falling to the Suns and general manager Ryan McDonough took no time selecting him.
McDonough saying, “We are thrilled to announce this contract extension with Devin”.
Booker’s name is becoming synonymous with scoring and shooting in the NBA. Booker became the youngest player to score more than 60 points in a game when he scored 70 against the Boston Celtics in March of 2017 at the age of 20 years and 145 days old.
He also won the Three-Point contest at the 2018 All-Star game.
