Arizona State wins Long Beach State series
PHOENIX, Ariz. — The Arizona State Sun Devils closed out their series with Long Beach State with a 9-3 victory. With the win, the Sun Devils win the series 2-1 and improved on their season record to 9-5.
After the Sun Devils won Friday night by a score of 6-4, after trailing 2-0 to the Sun Devils the Dirtbags came from behind on Saturday to win 4-2. This set up the series finale.
Out of the five different players for the Sun Devils that recorded an RBI on Sunday, the person that did the most damage was third baseman David Greer who had a career day. He went going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
