Sun Devil Shannon Evans prepares for NBA Draft
As former Arizona State Sun Devils Shannon Evans, makes his rounds in the NBA Pre-Draft camps, he seems to be making a positive impact on his future.
He knows he’s not an expected first round pick but he said he’s, “working hard everyday and where ever life takes me I’ll be happy.”
He’s been told by scouts he’s a point guard and wants to continue to show that he’s , “A true point guard”.
Evans is coming off a senior season that saw him average a career high 16.5 points per game. He also posted 3.5 assist and 3.3 rebounds per game.
When asked about the G-League or Oversees, Evans replied, ”As long as you can (play), you got a short span to play basketball for. If your lucky you might get seven or eight years out of this. I just want to play as long as I can”.
He then kidded, “When I’m done hopefully coach (Bobby) Hurley got a job for me”.
